DESCRIPTION:Join us at the garden on a beautiful fall afternoon and evening for our 5th Annual International Festival on Sunday\, September 19 from 2 to 6 pm. This family-friendly event is FREE and open to the entire community! No tickets necessary. Please RSVP in advance here: https://www.bgozarks.org/international-festival/ \nPlease note: Guests will be required to wear face masks at the Garden entrance\, inside the building\, while visiting booths and when they cannot remain socially distanced from other guests. Free COVID-19 vaccines will also be available at the event thanks to the health department. \nAs we plan this event\, we are reaching out to our community partners and local nonprofit organizations to celebrate diversity! If you or someone you know would like to participate by having a booth representing your heritage and culture at this event\, contact Roslyn Imrie at rimrie@bgozarks.org. \nTraditional dance performances from different countries will take place on the Great Lawn throughout the afternoon. Picnics\, blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. Ethnic food trucks will be selling items as well. No pets please. \nThis event is part of Welcoming Week\, a series of events nationwide bringing together immigrants\, refugees and native-born residents to raise awareness about the benefits and importance of welcoming everyone. The garden supports diversity and inclusion\, and this festival is a wonderful opportunity to experience a wide variety of cultures in one place!
